Eating something delicious and quick can be a challenge. I know that especially during a hectic day, I find that if something takes longer than 20 minutes to make, I will tend to look for something “grab-n-go” which may not always be the healthiest choice.
Today I was craving Fried Rice! Luckily, I have an amazing, quick, healthy-carb, delicious option to satisfy this craving.
Green Giant makes a great Riced Cauliflower Medley and the recipe for the Fried Rice is right on the back of the bag. No fillers, or additives, just a bunch of yummy riced veggies. I always keep a few bags on hand in the freezer. It’s a nice low-carb, go-to for me when the family wants pasta as a side dish.
Just add your favorite protein... (I used cubed Chicken today) and the ENTIRE pan is only 16 Net Carbs and packed with 36 grams of lean protein!! I usually eat ½ and I am STUFFED. Best of all, it takes just 10 minutes to make a hot and satisfying lunch. Plus, it’s a quick and effortless way to use leftover proteins or veggies from the previous night’s dinner.
Eating lower carb doesn’t mean you can’t eat delicious food. There are so many fast & healthy options available now.
